Summer Build Lab

Segmento Urbano is opening its construction site on August 1st, 2025, for the launch of the Summer Build Lab – Open Day, an intensive hands-on training program in construction, designed for young people and adults interested in exploring this field in a real worksite environment.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to engage with different stages of the construction process, carry out technical tasks under professional supervision, and experience the dynamics of an active building site.

The initiative will take place at Segmento Urbano’s site in Paços de Ferreira and is completely free, including:

• Personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Personal accident insurance

• Certificate of participation

• On-site technical guidance

The Summer Build Lab is open to students, adults in career transition, or anyone curious about the construction sector — no previous experience is required. The only thing you need is a willingness to learn.

With this initiative, Segmento Urbano aims to contribute to the appreciation of the construction sector, promote access to technical knowledge, and encourage new vocations in a field that is strategic to the country’s development.
